Why is Meg Whitman's former housekeeper not in jail?: http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/california-politics/2010/10/whitmans-undocumented-ex-housekeeper-fires-back-at-gop-candidate.html She admitted to being an illegal immigrant, to forging phony legal documents like a CA driver's license and a social security card ( and who knows who's identity she stole for that, all of which are crimes). Why is she not in jail? (Of course, we all know he answer to that..)
And I have no sympathy for her whatsoever...being paid $23 an hour is NOT exploitation!!! I only get paid $10 an hour and for me that is good. Many Americans, even those who were making $23 an hour or so, are now either unemployed or making far less than they used to, so how dare this woman say she was exploited?! And if your boss is too tough, then quit and get another job (I did exactly that under the same type of circumstances..when the economy was better), or take her infront of the labor board (of course you can't, if you're an illegal!)
And it is the illegal's fault that they are "living in the shadows" and get "exploited". Not our's. They, like this lady, deliberately, knowingly, and VOLUNTARILY break our immigration laws and put themselves into these situations. It is their fault they live "in the shadows," not our's!! How dare she!!!
