Speakers at Fullerton College Commencement 2010: Lying, Slanderers or Fullerton College: Far-Left, Liberal Socialist-Communist- Anti-American Bastion
The unfortunate fact was I was rushing to get to the ceremony and forgot to put on a shirt, sticker, or button in support of Arizona and SB 1070, so instead I made it a point to speak up...I yelled as loud as I could from the stands "Go Arizona!!!" and loudly challenged these liars to a tell the truth and to a debate. But this was a commencement ceremony, not a political debate, not that they cared as long as they were able to speak unopposed.

There is Nothing Wrong With Our Current Immigration Laws.....Just Enforce Them!!!
I really don't think there is anything wrong with the immigration laws, policies, and process we have right now, if only the government would enforce them. The only problem is some people don't like them, that's all. There is a radical fringe of people, some minorities and some white sympathizers, who believe that the evil, rich racist American Empire owes them something. And this radical fringe gets all the publicity and all the attention and pander from politicians, especially in the federal government....and here in California. That said, I have heard from some legal immigrants that the fees to get into the country are quite stiff.
So, do we even need immigration reform? Other than to pander to pro-open borders anti-American sovereignty proponents? And if so, what are your ideas for "reform"?
For my part, I believe we should lower the fees associated with immigration, and set up Ellis Island-type processing centers to carefully process potential immigrants (my great-grandparents actually went through the real Ellis Island less than 100 years ago), and send not only the National Guard, but even the military to the southern border to assist in the drug war, and yes its is a war, and simply enforce the laws and penalties already on the books, like penalizing businesses, big and small, that knowingly hire illegals. And yes, we should keep up the immigration raids and deportations. Local law enforcement also needs to work with ICE and the feds when requested and required, and voluntarily turn over to ICE any suspect that is suspected of being an illegal alien. In addition, perhaps we should try to start billing the nations that illegal aliens come from for the resources we spend on their citizens.
However, I also believe that each immigration violation case should be taken on a case by case basis and judged on their individual merits. There was once a story a few years ago of an illegal immigrant that saved someone's life, and yet was still deported. The guy was a hero, but they still deported him! Again, lets take each case individually and judge them on their own merits.
We also need to balance population growth versus available natural resources. Contrary to popular belief, the US is not a Heaven on Earth. We do not have an infinite amount of resources like land, water, jobs, and etc....California, my home state, has already felt the negative affects of over-population with long-term droughts, a high unemployment rate, and a near bankrupt government. And since we can't morally put a limit on how many kids a person can or can't have, like China's one child policy, or tell American citizens where in the country they can and can't live (you can't move to California. It's closed), the only way we can control population growth is by regulating immigration, and that is partly why we have immigration laws and an immigration process. So we have the right to and we must put a quota on how many people we let into our country in a certain amount of time. We can not open the borders, no matter what anyone says. Well, now I'm babbling and going off-topic.....
..The point is we really don't need immigration reform, other than to lower the fees and to get the feds to actually enforce our current laws and help keep people who live near the southern border safe....
What are your ideas? Feel free to vent as I did....

The Truth Behind Pro-Open Borders, Pro-Illegal Immigration Activists: We're the Evil, Rich, White West and We Owe Them!!
________________________________________________________________
Yet, the truth is all these people that oppose Arizona's SB 1070, that oppose any law or action that cracks down on illegal immigration to the US and to Europe, do believe that....that we owe them and must give in to them. That is the real ideology, the truth behind pro-open borders, pro-illegal immigration activists, the same activists that organized and were at the May Day protests throughout the world. The Rich, White, Evil West owes them restitution for the centuries of oppression......we must let people from minority and third world nations into our lands to take advantage of our jobs, our welfare, our health care, our quality of life and resources in general, as reparation and penance for our past sins. That is it. To them we are the evil, rich, white West and we owe them!!
The underlying ideology, the truth behind the beliefs of pro-open borders pro-illegal immigration activists is this: We're the big, bad, White imperialist United States that "stole" a bunch of land from Mexico. We have to do penance for our sins and give reparations to minorities by giving them anything they want, no matter how outrageous. (Yes, I know that not all minorities feel this way...please don't hate me by thinking I'm generalizing or stereotyping anyone..)
And Mexico and other third world countries are saints and victims of White Western civilization. That is basically what it comes down to. That is the underlying radical ideology behind pro-open borders and pro-illegal immigrant activist's beliefs....look up MECHA, look up the myth of Aztlan, and listen to the phrase, "we didn't cross the border, the border crossed us..," which is just bs since very few Hispanics were actually in the Southwest at that time and no Native American group calls themselves Mexicans....
But that is what is behind all this: White Western civilization has to do penance for its sins and "fix" all the problems it has caused in the world (and it is alone responsible for all the problems of the world) by giving into all the demands of non-White, non--Western and third world societies. That is why many minorities (not all, of course) are also making outrageous demands from European nations which themselves are in the throws of a heated immigration debate, while none of them are speaking out against the immigration policies of Mexico or other foreign nations where the majority population are dark-skinned and/or poor, see: How Mexico Treats Illegal Aliens by Michelle Malkin
Again: I know that not all minorities feel that way. There are many Hispanics and other minorities who are patriotic Americans. Please don't misunderstand me. Its just that the people who do feel the way I described above get the most attention.
Now, first off, I believe that that is all bs. Not all native societies of the Western Hemisphere were peaceful or a paradise. Native peoples conquered and oppressed other native peoples just as much and just as brutally as Europeans (and later, European-Americans). Secondly, there were very few people in the Southwest before the US took it that considered themselves Mexicans, and no Native American group, save for one or two right at the border, consider themselves Mexican. The myth that Mexican-Indians also inhabited if not claimed the American Southwest in ancient pre-history is also just that, a myth. In other words, no, the border didn't cross them. And besides that, by that standard, anyone can lay claim to anyone else's land based on ancient inhabitance or ownership. As an Italian-American, a descendant of the Romans, by that standard I could go anywhere in the Mediterranean and demand citizenship in and reparations from any nation there, including Libya and Egypt. The past is the past. This is today.
Third, the people, of today, no matter their race, are not responsible for the actions of their ancestors hundreds of years ago. In fact, most Euro-Americans' families weren't even in this country until the late 1800s and on, like mine. And finally, the past is the past. We can't change it. There comes a time when you do have to confront a past injustice, and there comes a time when you have to move on. No matter how the southern border got there, the fact is it is there......and must be respected. There are two countries divided by it: Mexico to the south, and the United States to its north.
America does not have to give restitution to Mexicans and do penance for its sins, for "stealing" lands from Mexico and "oppressing" its people, by opening up the border completely and letting in all the people that want to come in to it no matter who they are, for any reason, in perpetuity.
And Europe is completely different. While Europeans conquered and oppressed other Europeans (like the British against the Irish), and did conquer and colonize other parts of the world, the immigrants to that continent (and to the British Isles) are not in any way native to it or have a claim on any of its lands due to some ancient inhabitance. Therefore, Europeans have every right to say who comes into their nations, and when, why, and how. Just as you can't tell me who I can and can't have into my own home, so can Europeans say who can and can't come into their nations.

Boycott the Boycotts!!!
Los Angeles, CA-LA Councilwoman Janice Hahn criticized Arizona's anti-illegal immigration bill SB 1070 saying,"it brings back memories of Nazi Germany," Los Angeles Times April 28, 2010. First off, where does an LA Council person get off or get the right to criticize Arizona? Didn't they cause enough damage and have enough problems to deal with at home? Secondly, she obviously didn't read the bill. It doesn't say that just anybody can be picked off the street solely in order to check their immigration status. Third, it is already federal law for immigrants to carry their green cards. And finally, it is state law in many states already for even citizens over 18 to carry a state ID any time and a driver's license when they drive. So the next time a cop asks for my driver's license, I can say, "stop acting like a Nazi!"
But the other story here is that, like LA's Mayor Villaraigosa, Hahn and other LA City Council members are calling for a boycott of Arizona. Along with some other California cities like San Francisco and Sacramento.
It is simply not right for one American city or state to boycott another. Even if you don't agree with the lawmakers, with the people in charge of that city or state, you should not hurt its businesses and residents by boycotting it. I disagree with the Mayor and City Council of San Francisco for its sanctuary policies, for its support of boycotting Arizona, and for more,......but I love the city of San Francisco. I love its people, its weather, its diversity, its architecture, its many points of interests, and so much more. I will continue to visit it and to do business in and with the City by the Bay.
We as Americans should not be boycotting each other, but uniting to fight illegal immigration and enforce the laws and sovereignty of our great nation. Please don't boycott any American city or state you disagree with. We are all Americans. Lets not forget that. Please, boycott the boycotts!!!
